Voluntary Human Extinction Movement
VHEMT? I have never heard of such a weird movement...Interesting, yes. But definitely, kinda wacky.

They seem rather extreme. What is the point of all the beauty in nature if there is no one left to appreciate it?
I do believe that Earth is over populated and we need to bring our numbers down. Perhaps a long term one child policy can do the trick. Each generation will be halved and in a hundred years time, the population size will be much smaller and better managed.
Or we can practice selective breeding and pick only the best genes to survive.
Humans also need to rethink and simpify our lifestyle so that we can conserve and restore the environment to it's former glory.
Otherwise, we will have to find a new planet soon.

Yeah, I do think VHEM is wacky and that there are many other better alternatives to saving Gaia. Your suggestions are cool!
