RMT - 23/24 and 100% satisfaction
I passed my RMT practical - this was last Friday by the way :o)Took about an hour and a half assessing my colleague's posture (both static and movement based) and answering questions about the sling systems and the causes of the postural deviations and muscle imbalances. Quite a lot of hiccups in the static assessment bit but was fortunately able to tackle all the questions (except for one) and show that I was able to identify the problem areas. Phew!
Was elated to know I passed and almost scored full marks! Praise the Lord!
It's a huge load off my mind and now I can finally get back to reading other stuff - Kiyosaki, other health, nutrition and fitness readings, magz, news, and the occasional fictional novel.
Logged on to PT on the Net just now and downloaded about 20 articles - really informational.
My Postural Deviations and Muscle Imbalances:
Head (slight tilt to the right and rotation to the left but shoulders level) - OA right SCM & Levator Scapulae, Anterior Pelvic Tilt (Hollow back) - Weak abs and glutes, OA lowerback and hip flexors. Higher PSIS on right, Smaller keyhole on right - OA right lats and QL. Medial rotation of shoulders, Winging of Scapula - OA Pecs and Lats, Weak Rhomboids, Mid Traps, & Serratus Anterior. Feet - tendency to supinate.
And the solution: Stretch OA muscles and strengthen weak muscles
