Phantom of the Opera
I went to watch it with my mom on Mother's Day :o)I know that was quite some time ago but i didn't have a chance to blog about it then. Paid for two $120 tickets and got Circle 2 seats on a Sunday evening.
Twas the 2nd time I watched Phantom (1st time was 10 years ago when I was still in Secondary School) and 1st for my mom. Had initially wanted to give it a miss coz I didn't want to pay so much to watch a repeat performance but i was looking for a worthy present for my mom and I knew she loved musicals.
The show turned out to be really good and totally worth watching twice. Dunno about thrice though. Seats were unfortunately too far for us to observe the facial expression of the cast.
On the other hand, that might have been a good thing coz the lead characters turned out to be not so good looking and having to look at their faces for the entire musical might have ruined the magic of it.

Heard that Midsummers Night Dream at Fort Canning was really good and kinda regret not getting tickets or making plans to watch it.
Well... if they stage it again, I'll definitely go.
Will probably try to watch Dim Sum Dollies and King Lear :o)
