Brown Nuggets

GSS Budget 2007

Des asked me the other day if I had a budget for the GSS - I didn't but I thought about it and decided it would be helpful to have one if I didn't want to break the bank.

So, I set a $1000 limit for myself :o)

I think that's fair considering the fact that:
1) I have already spent $750 + $160 (*I'll explain)
2) and there's still 6 weeks left (i seirously dun think i'll be buying much after the GST hike so 3 weeks in actuality).
3) I don't need anything else anyway (not that i really needed anything i already bought) - except perhaps another pair of black/brown slacks, a bag to go with my new look and a pendant chain for Des - $90 should suffice (ok maybe I won't get the bag or the slacks)

* What I bought since I last blogged:
- Grey slacks $23
- 2 Long Tops (yellow and black) from Dorothy Perkins $59
- Lasenza Sleepwear - $37
- Soles for my new heels (they are not comfortable - at all) - $9
- 2 tops from G2000 - $12
- 2 tops from Samuel and Kevin - $20

Well, I've covered most of Orchard except for Heeren and the new John Little which replaced Urban Warehouse (actually I got my grey slacks there but I didn't have enough time to look at everything). Also, as mentioned before, I'm planning to visit PS, Bugis and Novena (again). And perhaps Jurong Point too - if i have the time.

MY VERY OWN DIGITAL CAMERA!

I've got a new Digital Camera (it's really my first digital camera coz the Creative one I was using before belongs to my mom and handphone cameras can hardly be considered proper) - the Canon A460 courtesy of my dearest darling :o*

Haven't been taking photos for ages cos I didn't have a good camera and my old Canon EOS 300 is non-digital and developing costs too much. Now I can snap away as much as I like and perhaps rekindle my passion for photography...

Going to work on my article now - I may be underpaid for it but I'm happy just to be given this opportunity and hopefully, more will come!
