Should I buy?
Yippee! I'm gonna get a brand new mp3 player. Actually what happened was that my Creative Muvo died about a month ago - only about 7 months after I bought it. So, I brought it for repair but was told by Creative that it couldn't be repaired and that I would be getting a brand new one. Muahahahaha!Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me top up the difference and get an upgrade. I kinda like the new Creative Zen and I would prefer an mp3 player with more memory - my old one is 512MB. Anyway, they told me that I would be getting my new player only after 2 weeks as they did not have available stock. That'll be in 2 days time.
Maybe I'll give that one to my mom and buy the Zen. Her ipod Shuffle is also not working anymore.

Went on a low-carb diet and trained intensively for about 4 days last week to prepare for a filming session. Survived on a breakfast of 2 slices of wholemeal bread with a bit of peanut butter, and sliced fish soup, soyabean milk, sashimi, chawamushi, protein shake, chicken breast and yong tau hu for the rest of the day. Felt hungry and weak all the time coz of the lack of carbs. I didn't weigh myself but i did feel leaner. On camera, you tend to look fatter so I'm hoping I look okay but in any case, I know I tried my best.
Some sports channel is running a personal training program and needed some female trainers to introduce and demonstrate different exercises. Several of the female trainers from my company went for the shoot. Filming was fun but rather tiring as we were required to repeat the exercises about a million time while the crew filmed the same action from different angles. I'm not too sure when the program will air but they'll send me a copy of the program on dvd when it's ready.

I haven't purchased anything since my Sydney sandals.
Except for The Undomesticated Goddess by Sophie Kinsella from a 2nd hand bookshop at Beauty World (we went there for dinner with his family and relatives after visiting his grandma yesterday) but it doesn't count coz my bf paid for that. Actually, I spent about $100 yesterday buying some books from church as gifts for 2 of my clients who are getting married and pre-ordering some sermon cds. But they don't count too coz they're not like material stuff.
I've been spending on groceries and food...
Overall, my spending habit is quite under control... really.
Oh, did i mention that I bought a really nice bag for my boyfriend for about $40? But that doesn't count too cos it's a gift. Hehe... My mom really likes my Sydney sandals and I'm thinking of getting her a pair. Still thinking...
Was planning to watch Forboidden City but decided not to coz firstly, no one to watch with (my mom was supposed to go with me but she is only free on Sundays and there are no performances on Sunday) and secondly, don't think i really want to spend so much money.
Need to save up for my church building fund and my short holiday in November...

Have been making an effort to be nicer to my dad. Visited him at the restaurant he works at with Desmond 2 weeks ago - we also ate there.
Also getting round to communicating more with my CG. The CG messages have been focusing a lot on communication during the last few weeks. I'm kinda surprised to know that I'm not the only one struggling.
I guess for a lot of busy people, church and CG is just another small slice of their life. And most people are busy - with work, ministry, other friends, other commitments. We rush to church and CG and rush off after that. Not much time to really get to know people on a deeper level. And we seldom have time (or rather, we seldom make the effort) to meet up with each other during the week. We're just to comfortable with our own life to make adjustments to accommodate or fit other people into our schedule.
Communication requires effort and I need to make more of it in my life...

My brother is back from re-service by the way. That's why I haven't been able to blog for a while. Today, he's working and coz I start work at 4:30pm, I get to use the internet. Got another 3 hours before I need to leave for work so I'm going to go pack my room a bit.
